Tutorials covering mid-term #2 will be offered at 1:30 and 5:30. Location: 2126 Erie Hall 11.21.2011. Mid-term #2 takes place in class. Monday's class will feature the tutorial for the week, which will cover the ice cube problem and elements of the second law toolbox. This tutorial will be presented by Stanislav Veinberg. Course Description:Properties of ideal and real gases, first and second laws of thermodynamics, physical transformations of substances, mixtures of substances and phase diagrams are applied to changes of state, chemical reactions and spontaneous processes.
